A revolutionary training Approach - no other program compares.
Our Board & Train Program is designed for dog owners who want to give their pets a head start in the world of dog training. Dogs enrolled in our programs work 1:1 with Coach Ariel, a professional trainer with 17 years of experience helping thousands of dogs and their owners. Your dog will stay in her home, receiving undivided attention as they work through a customized training plan created with you beforehand. Together, they will build a strong training foundation. Once the program is complete, we’ll equip you with the skills you need to continue your dog’s progress.
For dogs in need of behavioral help, we provide more targeted Board & Train options, designed to address your dog’s unique challenges. See the behavioral training option below.
If you're eager to be involved in your dog's training journey, then we're the perfect match for you!
Expertly Designed, Owner-Centric Training Programs
Every program includes a 3-hours of instruction for owners. During this time, we teach owners everything we learned about their dog during the program, how they learn best, and how to reinforce their dog’s new skills at home. This ensures the dog’s progress continues and that the training is maintained long after the program ends. By involving owners in the process, we make certain that the training is not only successful during their dog's stay but also sustainable in the long term.

Coach Ariel works with each family to create a personalized “Training Plan” beforehand. This plan covers skills that will be beneficial to the dog and their family. After the program, dogs are returned to their families where they get to showcase all of their new skills! This is not only the most exciting part, but also the most important one: when owners begin their journey as handlers.

After your dogs B & T program ends, Coach Ariel teaches you the skills you will need to take over the handling and continue your dog in the right direction. This program makes it easy for your dog to transition to that lifestyle since they’ve already had lots of practice. Every dog in the program is excited to show their owners just how amazing they can be!
Your dog will develop essential obedience skills, improve leash walking, and enjoy daily exercise through walks, runs, hikes, and play. We provide clear expectations, consistent communication, and dedicated care to ensure your dog succeeds.
We offer 1:1 Training Programs. No other dogs will be boarding during your dogs stay.
Our goal is to help you build a lasting bond with your dog through training, not just achieve short-term results. We begin dogs with programs that are 7, 9 or 12 days in length, rather than 3-8 weeks that some other companies might offer so that we can guide you and your dog along your training Journey together.

How do I apply?
Fill out the contact form and select “Board & Train”. Once we receive your request, we will begin with a phone call to discuss your dog, lifestyle, and training goals. If your dog sounds like a good fit for the program, we will send you the application form to fill out. We will let you know within one week if your dog is eligible for the program. *Not all dogs will be selected.
How does your program differ from other Board & Train programs?
Canine Coach offers 1:1 training for your dog and your dog ONLY. Your dog will be getting 1 on 1 training every single day of the program.
Another thing that makes our program unique is that it is not held in a boarding facility. Dogs who are accepted to our program stay in Coach Ariel’s personal HOME. So they never have to sleep alone.
Your dogs program will be personalized to their needs and your goals. You will be part of the creative process as Coach Ariel develops the perfect plan for your household - not just for you, but with you.
We focus on giving you the tools to keep your dog on the right track, strengthening the bond you share as you grow together.
This is a unique opportunity that prepares your dog and family for a lifestyle of training together with the guidance of a personal dog trainer.

How many dogs are accepted to the program?
Our Board & Train Program is only offered to 12-15 dogs and their families per year. Space is limited and based on schedule availability. Those looking for specific dates can contact us for info and openings.
Will there be other dogs are in this program?
No, we accept only 1 dog at a time. No other dogs will be staying in the home during the entire length of your dogs program. Your dog will receive Coach Ariel’s attention 1-1 EVERY SINGLE DAY. We do often accept 2 dogs from the same home. This is beneficial so they can not only learn their own individual skills, but learn to train alongside one another. If you are interested in this option, contact for pricing.

Will my dog be spending any time alone or get breaks from training?
Yes! It is healthy for dogs to spend some time alone and decompress. This is especially true for dogs who are getting as much care as they do in this program. They will be provided with brain breaks, naps, and chill time between training, enrichment, exercise, play, and attention they receive for a healthy balance. Every dog is different and down time is determined by the trainer during their stay.
